Simple Snow Ice Cream is a fun and spontaneous dessert! We can never plan on having enough snowfall at any given moment here in Missouri which makes this old-fashioned recipe a special treat. It is not unusual to have a 70 degree day and snow in the same week! More times that not the weather forecast shifts directions and changes so I make sure to have Snow Ice Cream ingredients on hand in the winter months.
The ingredient list for this treat is super easy taking no effort at all to prepare for!

I adore this snowy recipe because I can’t have it throughout the year. Its exclusively a winter treat! I am a lover of the plain taste but I know so many of you love all the toppings you can get. When it comes to this Simple Snow Ice Cream recipe its perfect just as it is. Lucky for me, we got 9.5 inches of snowfall this week. With ingredients on hand we mixed it up in no time at all. Since we are talking about ice cream and St. Louis, Missouri I must give a quick shout out that the ice cream cone invention has St. Louis roots! Check out the story here.
Cold, creamy and sweet.

If you make this recipe let me know what toppings you used (or didn’t use)! There is no wrong way to enjoy this and kids always love participating in the mixing. Its such an easy recipe that lends itself to tweaking here or there to your own personal preference. I can’t wait to see what you mix up with the snow in your area!
Wanting to warm up before having this snowy treat? Try making this delicious soup! It’s a family winter favorite, especially with my oldest child.
